Rubik's Cube - The Last Layer

The Face Algorithm -To get last yellow cross

front clockwise
up
left (top layer)
down
right
front counter clockwise - keep using this algorithm until you get to the cross, if you see the backwards L to the back
horizontal bar - keep horizontal

The Push Algorithm - To get cross edges correct try to line up 2 edges hold one to back and one on right side
if on opposite sides use algorithm from any side to align correct mid pieces

up push (to left)
down push
up double push
down push
.........
The Dodge Algorithm - Look for any corner in the right place, hold on top right.

dodge left (top layer) up
dodge right up
dodge left down
dodge right down
keep performing this move from same corner until all corners correct but not necessarily facing the right way.

To complete the cube perform the following algorithm until all the yellow pieces are on top. Hold the 4 top left pieces still.

right side down
left (bottom layer)
up
right (bottom layer)
Important - move the top layer across (not the whole cube) until all yellow pieces are on top

There are a few basic scale patterns that you should know and understand when you learn the
blues.

- The Pentatonic scale.

The Major pentatonic scale is, 5 notes of the 7 note octave scale. For example, in the key of "C" the major pentatonic scale would be...

C D E G A.

(the 1, 3, 5, 6, tones).

The Minor Pentatonic scale flattens the 3rd and the 7th tone. For example, in the key of "C", the minor pentatonic scale would be...

C Eb F G Bb.

(the 1, flatted 3, 4, 5, flatted 7, tones).

- The Blues Scale

The "Blues" scale for the key of "C" is constructed as follows....
